4A Games Releases ARKTIKA.1 on Oculus Rift

In early 2014, 4A Games started the extremely challenging task of opening a new studio and moving 80 employees and their families, to the island of Malta. Three years later, our first VR game, ARKTIKA.1, was released. It is the first 4A Games title to be developed from inception to competition in Malta. The team at 4A Games has put a lot of hard work and all their experience into making ARKTIKA.1 a memorable adventure for both new and seasoned VR players alike.

ARKTIKA.1 transports you almost a century into the future – in the aftermath of a silent apocalypse. Only the equatorial regions remain habitable, yet pockets of humanity still manage to survive in small numbers all over the planet. These regions of civilization sit on resource-rich, highly desirable territories to the north and south. As a mercenary hired by Citadel Security, you must protect one of the last colonies in the wastelands of old Russia from violent raiders, marauders, and horrifying creatures. Give humanity a second chance!
